Thanks for all the encouragement this year My Peeps.
Eighteen quilts and a full time job until the end of November! No wonder my family isn’t feed and the dishes are dirty.
I’ve tried hard to stick with my process of finishing a quilt before starting another.
I think my resolution this year is to use up some of the stash that is taking over my closet. Mix the old with the new, but I think that resolution might be a repeat from the last 8 years.

The quilts are amazing, I might have to try finishing a quilt before starting a new one after the shocking discovery of only one finish for 2012. I’m going to Quilt Con as well it should be fabulous.
Beautiful, Katie. You have a lovely trunk show there. Seattle… gorgeous city, inspirational like here in the Bay Area. Your work intrigues and animates me.
Such a great group of quilts! I’m going to Quilt Con. We’ll meet at last!
It is so hard to pick my favorite, they are all soooooo beautiful. Be BLESSED, Mtetar
You are a quilting rock star! Does this mean you are now full-time quilting? I remember you saying you were figuring out how to transition.
Thank you for being an inspiration for this last year (and before that). Your quilts are all so wonderful, I love each one. All the best for the new year.
What a beautiful and productive year you had! I’ll be at QuiltCon. I hope to meet you there
Nice job!! I can’t wait to see what 2013 holds for you ~ I’m making it the year I’m inspired by my stash. One very scrappy stash quilt in process and three more in the planning stage, plus LOTS of pieced backs. It won’t stop me from buying yards of yummy fabric, but it’ll keep me from feeling bad about it (not that I do, actually). <3
Your Quilts are beautiful! I really like the Anything Goes Quilt.
These quilts are so pretty! Such a talent you have
Beautiful work this year – and a book to boot! Can’t wait to see what you do next…!
Productive year!! Fabulous quilts. Sadly i cant make it to Quiltcon but one of my quilts is! Happy new year!
Tremendous! What a great accomplishment. I think I better get my act together and sew more! I love seeing what you are working on, truly inspiring. Thanks!

Wow – what a great body of work! And in one year – amazing!

I think it is very cool how this virtual world connects and touches lives whose paths may never cross in real time!! So thank you!

hi, Im rather new to quilting. Your blog really caught my attention. Nice work!
I was reading about your first quilt from a value quilt tutorial. I see that you used flannel backing. Is there also a filling layer?
It looks like it has a nice soft drape to it.
Yes, there is batting too. Flannel is my favorite for backings!
I think my favorite is the Anything Goes quilt but I do love them all. I’m so glad you got in touch because it made me realize I had lost your feed and needed to update! I knew I was missing something. I think I’m going to Quiltcon but I really have to figure it out…. REALLY! I hope to see you there : )
